Prayer for the Weekend

Hey y'all!

It's Friday... well almost because I'm writing these words on a Thursday night. But, this week's blog post is going to be a little different. Before we all start our weekend's I thought I would pray for whomever is reading. Prayer is the foundation for everything. Prayer is our connection to God. Prayer is our lifeline. It is the one thing that we can rely on when we are happy and when we are sad. Prayer can take place anywhere and can happen during all sorts of emotion. Prayer is a weapon against The Enemy and our enemies here on earth. So, tonight before the start of our weekend endures I want to pray for you, beautiful souls.

"Father, tonight I lift up every person who reads this post throughout the week. I pray that you be with them through their weekends and that you constantly remind them of your goodness in all situations. Father, remind them of their worthiness. Show each of these men and women that they are royalty in your eyes. That they are a strong and bold people with a fire in their hearts for you, Father. May each person put on your armour Lord - the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, "shoes" with the gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the spirit. Keep each of these beautiful souls safe and Lord give us opportunities to bless those around us. Father, God, thank you for the life you have given each of us. Thank you for the imperfect moments because through them we are able to experience leaning on your understanding and strength - which is always perfect. In your name we pray. Amen."
